My life

It is school holiday now. 1 month of school holiday and that is long. I work in my school but at a different faculty. Other than working, I spend most of my time at home. So as a typical girl, my parents expect me to clean the house and do the household chores. The expectation comes more from my dad actually. He always reminds us that girls need to know how to do all these things. While I agree that having nothing to do at home, I have to help my mum to do the household chores, I disagree with him that it is a girl's job. We also work and contribute to the household just like men. But why is this responsibility left to us? So this means we have 2 jobs? Find money and clean the house while the men have one? Then it is easier to be a man right. Haiz...I hope men will stop having that kind of thinking. Please realise that we are living in the modern context. I therefore would like to urge people(especially men) to change your thinking in line with the changing times.
